Activities Parent Handbook

Physical Exams are required by the Minnesota State High School League in order to be able to participate. Exams are good for three years and MUST be turned in to the Activities Office before the first day of official practice in order for an athlete to be cleared. Please note that we need a "Sports Physical", not a "Well Child Check".

A travel release form must be signed and turned into the coach prior to the student riding home from an event with their parent.

MAPS' VIP Gold card is exclusively for those 62 years and or older and live within school district #77 boundaries. It is a great way to enjoy no-cost admission* to concerts, home athletic** events, plays, and planetarium shows. 

If you would like a VIP Gold Card and fit the criteria above, you can get one by:

• Asking a the ticket gate/booth at regular season events
• Contacting Mankato Area Public Schools central office at 507-387-1868
• Contacting the activity offices at your local high school during regular business hours

*Some exclusions apply for fundraising events
** Not valid for playoffs and tournaments
