It is my pleasure to welcome you to Mankato West High School. I am proud and honored to serve the Scarlet community as principal. I believe my role is to foster a safe and positive climate at West and to support the students, staff, and the families of West High School by providing rich learning opportunities to students as they travel on their journey to becoming successful adults, ensuring that when they leave our doors, they are college, career, and life ready.

Welcome to Mankato West High School!  I am humbled and honored to serve the students, families, staff, and community as assistant principal.  Every day I embrace the opportunities in which I interact with learners to hear their voice and story, with the goal of helping prepare students for their future.        

As an educational leader it is my role to ensure equitable practices that provide opportunities for all students while bringing forth student voice, interests, and talents that contribute to their success.  I look forward to inspiring others with enthusiasm and the  necessary support to achieve their goals while fostering a safe learning environment in which every learner has a sense of belonging and feels valued.
